Bus Trip to the Cherry Blossom Festival

Despite the gloomy skies, a brave little group of residents donned their raincoats and headed off to the annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Auburn Botanic Gardens. We enjoyed a relaxing drive to Auburn and happily wandered through the gardens, admiring the beautiful blossoms, peacocks and the aviary— at least until the rain decided it was time to go home! Luckily, we had a Plan B and retreated to the Auburn Tennis Club for a lovely lunch, good conversation and plenty of laughs. A little rain wasn’t going to spoil our day!
